Following a successful year-long internship at DE-CS and obtaining a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London, Vishal joins the DE-CS team as its latest member. Eager to apply academic principles and leverage insights gained during his internship, he looks forward to addressing real-life engineering challenges. Vishal is enthusiastic about both enhancing his experience and contributing as a valuable asset to the team.
Having worked in the construction and fit-out sector in central London since 1989, Robert brings a wealth of experience and expertise in a variety of procurement routes to his role as Managing Director at De Group Contracting and Group Board Director for the DE Group. Driven by a focus to expand the DEGC services into high-end fit out, refurbishment and construction across London’s commercial, residential, hotel, later living, care and leisure sectors, his enthusiasm and team ethic help ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Graduating with a Masters in Structural Engineering at Brunel University, Mohammed recently joined the team at De Construction Solutions, bringing with him a broad range of knowledge across the principles and practices of structural engineering. It is these skills that he now looks forward to leveraging into innovative real-world solutions for the company, enabling him to make significant contributions to the success of the company’s landmark construction projects across the capital and beyond.
Leaving school with A levels in ICT, Product Design and Graphics Design — and a passion for 3D modelling — Sam brings a high level of cutting-edge expertise to his role as Trainee Technician for De Construction Solutions. Building on a solid foundation of theoretical and technical design planning skills, he is looking forward to developing his practical expertise and his professional career on high-profile projects whilst playing his part in the continued success of the company.
With a family background in the demolition sector, Cormac studied Civil and Railway Engineering at the University of Birmingham and also gained a foundation degree in Demolition Management through the Institute of Demolition Engineers. He brings a wide range of experience to his work for De Construction Solutions, ranging from the planning and execution of critical infrastructure to urban regeneration demolition projects, with a focus on temporary works design and demolition engineering.
A civil engineer and structural CAD technician with more than 15 years’ experience in engineering and fabrication projects, Murilo specialises in preparing highly detailed calculations, designs and computer-aided drawings of a wide variety of steel structures. As proficient in structural modelling and calculation as he is in drafting projects, his breadth of expertise encompasses everything from temporary works, steel frames and bridges to industrial sheds, technical buildings and airports.
Rob Millard CEng, MICE, AMIDE is the MD of De Construction Solutions and a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers. Rob’s extensive professional experience encompasses demolition, rail and airport infrastructure, large earthworks and remediation works, along with heavy civils construction and design management. As Chair of the Temporary Works forum he was part of the working group that developed and introduced the CITB Temporary Works General Awareness Course and is also a visiting lecturer at City, University of London for their MSc in Temporary Works and Construction Method Engineering.
As DE Group’s Business Development Director, George is responsible for establishing and nurturing new and existing client relationships, as well as marketing and early engagement for our contracting businesses. Working on multiple aspects of the business since joining in 2010, his clear and inherent understanding of our technical capabilities, combined with his ability to piece together the wider development picture, has helped him develop a variety of procurement routes that best suit our clients’ needs.
Joining Deconstruct at its inception in 2009, James is the Group Commercial Director, responsible for all commercial aspects of the contracting businesses within the group. With a focus on complex central London projects, he provides support for Deconstruct, De Group Contracting and Decontaminate and is responsible for seamless co-ordination of packages between our companies.
